How To Navigate To Ben Garelick Jewelers

We’re located on Transit Road, right across from Premier Plaza and in front of Eastgate Plaza which houses WalMart, Michael’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and more. You’ll find our beautiful free-standing jewelry store between McDonald’s and Applebee’s.

If you’re a GPS fan, just enter our address: 5001 Transit Rd, Williamsville/Buffalo, NY

Make SURE you enter our address as Williamsville/Buffalo so you are directed to the correct location and NOT 5001 Transit Rd. in Depew! This has happened to many, depending on their GPS system and we definitely don’t want you to have the same outcome! If you’re more the “give me written directions” type, we’ve put together the directions to Ben Garelick Jewelers from every direction so no matter where you’re traveling from, you’ll find us!

Directions from the North:

Super easy to travel to Ben Garelick Jewelers from the Lockport area or any of the Northtowns. Just take Highways 104 or 31 to Hwy. 78 south, which is Transit Rd., all the way to our jewelry showroom.

Directions from the South:

From downtown Buffalo, the Southtowns, and other areas south or southwest, take I-190 South. Use the left two lanes to take exit 1-52 to merge onto I-90 E toward Buffalo Airport/Albany (partial toll road!). Take exit 49 for Hwy. 78 toward Depew/Lockport (toll road!). Follow Hwy. 78 N/Transit Rd to Ben Garelick in Harris Hill.

Directions from the East:

If you’re traveling from most of our neighboring cities in the east, like Batavia, you’ll want to navigate to I-90 and head west toward Pembroke (toll road). Take exit 49 for Hwy. 78 toward Depew/Lockport (partial toll road) and then use the left two lanes to turn left (north) on Hwy. 78/Transit Rd. We’re just up the street on the right (between McDonald’s & Applebees!)

Directions from the West:

If you’re driving in from the Niagara Falls area in the northwest, take I-190 (note this is a toll road!). Use the right two lanes to take exit 16 for I-290 E toward I-90/Tonawanda/Rochester. Use the right lane to take exit 6 for Hwy. 240/Hwy. 324/Sheridan Dr/Harlem Rd. Turn right onto Hwy. 240 N/Harlem Rd. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Hwy. 324 E. Turn left (north) onto Hwy. 78/Transit Rd. We’ll be on the right.

How We Came To Transit Road

Ben Garelick Jewelers has been the first choice for fine diamond engagement rings in Buffalo, New York for more than 60 years. But we haven't always been located in our current jewelry store. We started as a family-owned jewelry wholesaler in 1952, furnishing beautiful designs to stores across the region from its downtown location. About 20 years ago, Peter Manka, Sr., a longtime employee who worked his way through the company ranks, purchased the business and moved it into its spacious free-standing showroom in the heart of Williamsville. Now Manka and his children work side-by-side to treat every customer as a member of their family.

When you arrive at our jewelry showcase, you can expect to be treated just like family. We greet you with a smile, learn a little about your needs and desires, and try to guide you in a direction that will best meet those needs. Our jewelry experts will answer all your questions about the quality, designs, and craftsmanship of our collection and encourage you to try on everything you love. You will NEVER be pressured to buy. What we want is for you to find the perfect diamond engagement ring, wedding band, earrings or another piece of jewelry that your loved one will treasure for a lifetime.

We understand you may be shopping with your children and we love our young friends! We have a great play area your kids will love. And, if you visited our downtown location in Ellicott Square when you were a kid, you might remember our special candy jar and our lollipop photo on the store window. In that same spirit, we offer multiple bowls of chocolates and drinks and that kids (and adults!) simply love. Just don’t blame us when your kids don’t want to leave the store!
