Two rings, chosen together or chosen as a surprise, matching or deliberately not. There is no rule here, and after seventy years of setting rings we'd gently suggest that's the best part.

What we do see work: pairs that share one element and differ in everything else — the same metal with two different center stones, or two different profiles in the same finish. Rings that look identical in a photograph can feel oddly impersonal on two different hands.

The collection runs to 97 pieces from $145 to just under $8,000, with CrownRing making up the largest share, alongside Kirk Kara, Gabriel & Co, Barkev's and rings from our own bench. That price spread is intentional: it covers a simple matched pair of bands as comfortably as two full diamond engagement rings.

Practical things worth knowing. If you're buying two, ask about sizing both at once — it's simpler and usually cheaper. If one of you wears a ring on a working hand and the other doesn't, the two rings probably shouldn't have the same setting height. And if you want them genuinely unique, our shop in Williamsville designs and builds custom rings in house, so a matched pair can be made to two different sets of measurements from one design.
