Directions from the North:

Super easy to travel to Ben Garelick Jewelers from the Lockport area or any of the Northtowns. Just take Highways 104 or 31 to Hwy. 78 south, which is Transit Rd., all the way to our jewelry showroom.

Directions from the South:

From downtown Buffalo, the Southtowns, and other areas south or southwest, take I-190 South. Use the left two lanes to take exit 1-52 to merge onto I-90 E toward Buffalo Airport/Albany (partial toll road!). Take exit 49 for Hwy. 78 toward Depew/Lockport (toll road!). Follow Hwy. 78 N/Transit Rd to Ben Garelick in Harris Hill.

Directions from the East:

If you’re traveling from most of our neighboring cities in the east, like Batavia, you’ll want to navigate to I-90 and head west toward Pembroke (toll road). Take exit 49 for Hwy. 78 toward Depew/Lockport (partial toll road) and then use the left two lanes to turn left (north) on Hwy. 78/Transit Rd. We’re just up the street on the right (between McDonald’s & Applebees!)

Directions from the West:

If you’re driving in from the Niagara Falls area in the northwest, take I-190 (note this is a toll road!). Use the right two lanes to take exit 16 for I-290 E toward I-90/Tonawanda/Rochester. Use the right lane to take exit 6 for Hwy. 240/Hwy. 324/Sheridan Dr/Harlem Rd. Turn right onto Hwy. 240 N/Harlem Rd. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Hwy. 324 E. Turn left (north) onto Hwy. 78/Transit Rd. We’ll be on the right.

How We Came To Transit Road

Ben Garelick Jewelers has been the first choice for fine diamond engagement rings in Buffalo, New York for more than 70 years. But we haven't always been located in our current jewelry store. We started as a family-owned jewelry wholesaler in 1952, furnishing beautiful designs to stores across the region from its downtown location. About 20 years ago, Peter Manka, Sr., a longtime employee who worked his way through the company ranks, purchased the business and moved it into its spacious free-standing showroom in the heart of Williamsville. Now Manka and his children work side-by-side to treat every customer as a member of their family.
