How did you two meet?
Taylor & Jacob met through mutual friends while attending college at SUNY Fredonia. After a whirlwind start and a few AIM conversations, they shared their first date at the Ellicottville Brewing Company and the rest, as they say, is history! In fact, the couple just celebrated their tenth anniversary this past February. What better way to celebrate a decade of love than getting married?! Taylor & Jacob have had their fair share of moves From Syracuse to Chicago to the DMV and back to Buffalo where they now live downtown on the medical campus with their two cats, Zak and Gaga. In June of 2017 at their favorite vacation home in Seattle, Jake popped the question on the front deck, which he had decorated with lush flowers and sparkling champagne, overlooking the skyline. Of course the answer was "YES" and the wedding planning began! Fast forward to April 27, 2018 where the couple said "I Do" surrounded by their closest family and friends at Hotel Henry. "Planning our wedding with our incredible local vendors was an experience we'll never forget. What was the first thing you thought when you saw the ring in person?
The ring I am obsessed with my engagement ring (and both of our wedding bands)!! It's so special to me because the main stone in my engagement ring is my grandmother's. The design is modern and really unique! It's perfect for creating that "layered" look. I thought it was the most unique, beautiful ring I'd ever seen!
