Purchasing an RCDC Original Radiant Cut Diamond means choosing the most finely made Radiant Cuts available in the marketplace. In addition, cutters have attempted to employ the general techniques used to create the Radiant Cut, labeling their diamonds with different names in order to market the stones as new "brands". Most of these stones are not proportioned to the high standards Mr. Grossbard demands of every Original Radiant Cut Diamond. The Standard for Evaluating and Measuring Radiant Cut Diamonds

Each Original Radiant Cut Diamond weighing in excess of 0.70 carats is measured according to precise standards developed specifically for the Radiant Cut shape. We established our measurements to build on the grading systems used within the industry, which were originally developed for the purpose of evaluating round diamonds rather than rectangular shapes.

The Original Radiant Cut Certificate

While the cut information contained in the certificates issued by diamond laboratories such as the Gemological Institute of America (the "GIA") can be helpful, we felt it was important to go a step further with measurements oriented specifically for the Radiant Cut. The results of these measurements, together with Henry Grossbard's personal assurance that the diamond meets his rigorous standards, are included in our Original Radiant Cut Diamond Certificate. We provide both the personal expertise and the hard data that ensures that each Original Radiant Cut Diamond performs to the highest standards in the industry. If a diamond does not have the Original Radiant Cut Certificate, it is not an authentic Original Radiant Cut and is unlikely to be cut to optimal proportions.

Beyond the Measurements

In order to 100% guarantee that each Original Radiant Cut Diamond sparkles as it should, we go beyond even our own sophisticated measurements. Radiant Cuts are extremely complex and sometimes even a diamond which measures correctly can fail to perform optimally. For this reason, after each Original Radiant Cut is empirically measured, it is carefully visually examined by our team of experts, under varying light conditions. By examining the diamond both objectively by proportions, and subjectively by visual examination, we ensure that each Original Radiant Cut Diamond performs to the highest standard of excellence.
